Tracks &Traces and TV Smith !

We are happy to announce Starman Records will manage as of now the new label “Tracks&Traces” which is mainly focussing on punk, post-punk and new wave in the broader sense. June 15th the label will introduce itself with the release of the 12” EP (vinyl including CD) ‘Gary Gilmore’s Eyes’ by  seventies punk icon TV Smith, containing 4 new and exclusive versions of this punk classic.

TV Smith was founder member, singer and songwriter for the Adverts, who formed in late 1976, and became one of the leading bands in the first wave of British punk rock.

Their second release, "Gary Gilmore's Eyes" became a hit record, leading to many radio and TV appearances and extensive media interest. The album that followed in early 1978, "Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts", still considered a genuine classic of the era and was recently named by Henry Rollins one of the twenty best punk albums ever released !

Since then TV Smith released many critically acclaimed albums and being highly in demand due to his strong and passionate live act he keeps on gigging worldwide at a high rate of 120 gigs a year.
